- I grew up in one of the last small beach towns in Southern California, just south of Santa Barbara, and never got over it. I adore traveling with my husband and have six nephews and two neices spread from Hawaii to Colorado and an amazing big happy family that I love very much. I would rather swim in the ocean than anything else I can think of...unless its sipping a cold glass of champagne or tea and curling up with my cat, who refuses to be named. Have an incurable case of wanderlust that has taken me halfway around the world...hoping to get to the other half.

Also... GO ITALIA! I'm actually really glad they won, for some reason.
But we still have 13 days until the tour is over!!!! Go Landis or Hicapie...I am torn over who I want to win. Yeah, I like watching bike racing...I need help.
Augh. Sports. Suck. I could live on an island where organized sports didn't exist and be happy for the rest of my life.
Oh, Hincapie for sure...he's such a cutie (in that underfed, anorexic way...) - my only consolation with all the sport in this house is doing a running commentary on how cute the players are. Unfortunately S. is like me (not a jealous bone in our bodies) and so he just laughs and rolls his eyes at me.

the world what? did we miss something?
we tried to watch a few games. tried hard. but never quite made it.
on the flip my husband is tivoing every single frickin' day of the tour de france and we're left saying, "oh! look at how he pedals, do we pedal that way? oh, look how he drafts, do we draft that way?" and my comments on a guy being hot are met with the blankest amount of nonjealousy that I think even your husband would be astounded....
